He was predeceased by: his parents, Marge Shepherd and Leo Shepherd; and his siblings, Scott Shepherd, Cheryl Sayler (Don) and Sue Shepherd (Michael).
He is survived by: his wife Gail Kletchka; his children, Jenny Crosse and Jeff Shepherd (Lauren); his grandchildren, Alex, Max Crosse, Walt and Tilly Shepherd; and his sisters, Jan Hilton (Mike Spahr) and Jo Vanderbeek (Hank). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Church of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 18218 W. Highway 54, Goddard, KS 67052.
