He was predeceased by: his wife Eileen (Thimmesch); his parents, Charles Stuhlsatz and Susanna Stuhlsatz (Ternes); his siblings, Paul, Ed, Clarence, Sylvester, Leon, William, Joseph, Charles and Mary Leis; his daughter-in-law Louise; and his granddaughter Stacy.
He is survived by: his children, Dale (Judy) of Garden Plain, Chuck of Garden Plain, Fred (Tina) of Garden Plain, John of Bel Aire, Janis Davis (Steve) of Olathe and Kathy Meyer (John) of Wichita.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kansas Honor Flight, or St Anthony Catholic Church.
