He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Phillips; his son David Phillips; his parents, Lannie Phillips and Mattie Phillips; and his sisters, Wilda Busbice and Dorothy Phillips.
He is survived by: his daughters, Judy Sharp (John) of Wichita, Amy Wells of Olathe and Cara King (Charlie) of Goddard. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
