He was predeceased by: his son Brian Wendell Stamps. He is survived by: his wife Karen Stamps; his sons, Christopher Boyd Stamps of Baxter Springs, Adam Lee Stamps of Baxter Springs, Jason William Stamps of Baxter Springs and Matthew Leonard Stamps of Baxter Springs; and his sister Malinda Gragg (Ken). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
