It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Jean Jones of Galena, Kansas, born in Drumright, Oklahoma, who passed away on July 27, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ellis and Viola Ellis (Lawson); her stepson Gene Jones; her siblings, Nora McClure, Edna Martin, Kathleen Smith, Eva Jo Fincher and Floyd Ellis; and her daughter-in-law Bethany Jones.
She is survived by: her friend Church; her children, Susan Ashe (Paul) of Baxter Springs, KS, Jacqueline Jenkins (Jerry) of Riverton, KS, Stephen Hopkins (Diane), David Hopkins (Hop) of Riverton, KS, Wayne Jones of Galena, KS, William Jones (Peggy) of Galena, KS, Robert Jones (Rosa) of Galena, KS, Finis Jones (Ann) of Galena, KS and Mark Jones of Riverton, KS; and her daughter-in-law Carole Jones of Houston, TX. She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
