He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleo Lovell and Laticia Lovell (Ross); his wife Shirley Walters; and his sister-in-law Judy McKinney. He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Carter (Kenny) and LaRissa Boatright (Paul); his brothers, Gary Lovell (Lavon) of Galena and Ray Lovell of Gravois Mills; his siblings-in-law, Kemp Price and Frances Crabtree (Glenn); his grandchildren, Kelsee Sigler (Ryan), Alexys Carter (Noah Hylton), Derick Boatright, Dillon Boatright and Erin Rockford-Boatright; and his great grandchildren, Brock, Emily Boatright, Liam, Keegan, Ryland, Kynzlee Sigler, Kyler, Cade and Jett Hylton.

Memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association or to the National Kidney Foundation in care of the mortuary.
