He was predeceased by: his wife Suzie Welch Morang; his parents, J. R. and Opal; and his siblings, Else Tyler, Johnny Currey and Tommy Currey.
He is survived by: his daughter Heather Morang of Galena; his sisters, Amy Olds (Dorsey) of Galena and Kathy Lynn Parish (Billy) of Crestline, KS; and his grandchildren, Shayla Hopkins (Dathan Brown) of Asbury, MO and Levi Holder of Miami, OK. He is also survived by two great-granddaughters, and one great-grandson.
