She is survived by: her husband Dan Payton; her sister Rina Trevison (Pondenone); her sisters-in-law, Judy Vaughn and Rosemary Payton; her niece Brenda Coburn (Jeff) of Emporia; her nephews, Steve Vaughn (Joni) of Emporia and Larry Vaughn of Emporia; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Randall Coburn (Shannon), Adam Coburn, Nichole Vaughn, Derek Vaughn, Kelsey, Zavry Goulden and Kennedy Vaughn.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday afternoon from 2:00 PM until 3:30 P.M.
A memorial has been established with the Saint Jude's Childrens Hospital, with contributions sent in care of the funeral home, PO Box #175, Emporia, Kansas 66801.
