She was predeceased by: her granddaughter Jessalyn Velazquez; and her grandparents, Naomi, Ed Nichols, Carl Maguire and Marcaria Sparks.
She is survived by: her father Edward Leroy Nichols of Emporia; her stepfather Ligaya Lily; her children, Michael, Weston Patterson of Waverly, Jacqueline Hernandez of Emporia and Kaylee Miller-Loyola of Emporia; her grandchildren, Kassandra Velazquez and Liam Loyola; and her siblings, Joshua Maguire of Edmond, Oklahoma, Tina Nichols of Merriam, Janie Nichols of Emporia, Shirley Goosey of Arkansas City, Shari Good of Emporia and Naomi Haney of Emporia.
