He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Henry Lawrence and Gertrude Lucille Lawrence (Ward); his former wives, Melba Rhudy (Chaffin) and Yvonne Aldrete; and his brother Elbert Lawrence.
He is survived by: his son Craig Alan Lawrence of Flossmoor, IL; his granddaughters, Rhoda, Morgan Wren and Annie; and his siblings, Arlene Scronce of Haviland, Larry Lawrence (Cindy Collins) of Eureka, Jim Lawrence of Eureka, Ron (Glenna Lawrence) of Independence and Linda (Dean Winters) of Towanda. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Veterans Ecological Trades Collective-Vets Farm.
