He was predeceased by: his wife Orvetta Ruth Handlin; and his siblings, Elrene Smith and Ray C. Handlin. He is survived by: his sons, Larry W. Handlin (Kris) of Salina and Timothy T. Handlin (Dawn Dearing) of Ellsworth; and his sisters, Dorothy Bellinger of Wichita and Mary Lou Brown of Ellsworth. He is also survived by five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
