He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesus Munoz and Maria Munoz (Mendez); his former wife Patricia; and his great grandchildren, Jackson and Nathan.
He is survived by: his wife Crystal Munoz; and his sons, Jerry Munoz (Karen), Jim Munoz and Chris Munoz (Sara). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
