It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby VanDyken of Edwardsville, Kansas, born in Gentry, Missouri, who passed away on May 28, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Albert VanDyken; her son Ken Tatum; and her grandsons, W. Tatum, Scott Tatum and James Metz.
She is survived by: her former husband Fred Tatum; her family, Melissa and Tom; her children, Bonnie Mock of Vero Beach, Florida, Don VanDyken (Mary Mogle) of Basehor, Kansas, Mike Tatum (Debra) of Sterling, Colorado, Melissa Wood (Larry) of Olathe and Tom VanDyken (Tania) of Basehor; and her great great grandchild Read Less. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren.
The family suggest memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association in care of the funeral home.
