He was predeceased by: his parents, John Roland and AnnaMay Edwards (Scott); his siblings, Lavona, Guy and H. Wayne; and his daughter Marlene (Rourke Madron).
He is survived by: his spouse Ardis F. Sawyer; his child Arleta (Ed Davey) of Olathe, KS; his grandchildren, Brenton (Lindsay) and Ashton; his daughter Sonja (Scott Zimmerman) of Basking Ridge, NJ; his grandchildren, Trevor (Bonnie), Chelsi (Dave Winquist), Landon, Skyla (Lou D'Autorio) and Miranda (Bill Muirhead); and his close friend Margaret Myers. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
