He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmar T. Stone and Susie E. Stone (Zimmerman); his wife Loretta Bliss; his sons, Roy and Mike Stone; and his granddaughters, Chandra Stone and Laken Seyb.
He is survived by: his children, Sherry Carpenter, Melissa Langlois, Stephen Carpenter (Kelli) and Darla Brozek (Rod); and his daughter-in-law Lisa Carpenter. He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren, and 5 Great Grandchildren.
The family suggest memorials to Ford County 4-H or St. Jude Children's Hospital both in care of Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
