He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar F. Carmichael and Mildred J. Carmichael (Torline); his wife Monica Heiland (Musslin); his siblings, Tim, Don, Richard and Elaine; and also Wayne Heilaman.
He is survived by: his former wife Karen Trent; his sister Jane Trabert; his children, Tina Kysar (Rick) and Joe; his stepchildren, Mana Roberts (William), Marian Akers (Mike), Monty Musslin, Matt Musslin (Carla), Melissa Musslin (Terry Powers) and Marci Fredericksen (Scott); his grandchildren, Ryan Cooper (Nichole), Lexi Kysar (Billy), Wyatt and Ethan Carmichael; his stepgreat-grandchild Navy; and also, Cy Trent, Rex Stanley and Monica. He is also survived by 7 step-grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Manor of the Plains in care of the Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N.14th.
