It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lequita Darlyne Jones of DeSoto, Kansas, born in Faucett, Missouri, who passed away on August 3, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ray DeMoss Sr. and Augusta Mae DeMoss (Sharp); her husband Omar "Red" Jones; her son Douglas Stagner; and her siblings, Dixie, Donna, Marie, Marietta, Gemela, John Ray Jr., Bobby and EJ.
She is survived by: her children, Terri Roscoe (Albert) and Davey Stagner Jr. (Linda); her grandchildren, Amy Keesler (Steve), Angela Heater (Paul), David William Stagner, Kelly Stagner and Megan Stagner; and her nieces and nephews, Robin Runnels, Berdie Auman, Jamie Rice (Bruce), Kimberly White (Jeff), Terry DeMoss and Steven DeMoss (Anita). She is also survived by seven great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
Until Covid, Darlyne served at the Food Pantry every Wednesday helping those in need.
