He was predeceased by: his parents, Mila Frances (Fraley) and John Locke Evans; and his brothers, Clifford and Raymond Evans. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Sue (Edens); his sons, William L. Evans, Jr. (Susan) of Paducah, Steven Evans (Cindy) of Rock and Russell Evans of Wichita, Kansas; his siblings, Johnny Evans of Fort Worth, Texas and Barbara Burnett of Texarkana, Texas; his sisters-in-law, Beth Evans of Udall and Alberta Williams of Anderson, Missouri; his grandchildren, Josh Reding (Claudia), Cody Evans (Brianna), Tara Evans and Raven Hammond (Jarrod); and his great grandchildren, Caleb Lewis, Remington Reding, Rowan Reding, Addison Evans, Arya Evans and Lennox Hammond.
