It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Lawson of Derby, Kansas, born in Marlow, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 9, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeffery William and Elsie Rosie Lee Pierce (Lackey); her sisters, Trudy Mayhan, Eileen Murphy and Betty Carter; and her siblings-in-law, Everett David, Lloyd Williams, Edwin Carter, Verlene Williams, Verla Lawson, Maxine Lawson and Helene Munson.
She is survived by: her husband Forest Calvin Lawson of Derby, KS; and her children, Jeff Kim, Terrell Lawson of Derby, KS, Perry (Shari) and Traci Bennett (Dwight) of Derby, KS. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
