She was predeceased by: her parents, Euris Scribner and Ida Scribner (Ozark County) of Zanoni, MO; and her siblings, Marlin Scribner and Betty Lois Hartman (Robert Starr). She is survived by: her husband Robert Starr; her children, Linda Holleman (Barney) and Robby Starr (Stacey Sullivan) of Wichita, KS; her brother Jasper Scribner of Zanoni, MO; and her nieces, Lois Shelton of West Plains, MO, Louise Anderson of Springfield, MO and Linda Sagerty of Park City, KS..

A memorial has been established with her favorite charity, The Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N Hillside Street, Wichita, KS 67219.
