He was predeceased by: his parents, Freeman Sr. Eary and Isabell Eary (Brown); his son Donald Wayne Eary; and his siblings, Loveless, Freeman Jr., Jessie, Sue, Marlene, Jill and Argyle.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Alpers Eary; his siblings, Sybil and Finis; his daughter Lisa Eary Schroeder (Joseph); his grandchildren, Bryce Schroeder (Meghan) and Brenna Schroeder (Ross); and his great grandchildren, Peyton and Wyatt Schroeder.

In lieu of flowers] memorial contributions may be made to Kansas Honor Flight 401 W 1st Ave Hutchinson, KS 67501.
