It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Lee (Lane) Schmidt of Derby, Kansas, born in Carson City, Nevada, who passed away on January 17, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Roberta Ely Lane and Henry "Ed" Lane; and her daughter Roberta Ely LaneMother. She is survived by: her husband Lloyd Schmidt; her daughters, Karen Doubrava (Joe) and Janna Haworth (Steve); her siblings, Norman Lane (Diane), Muriel Evans and Sharon Scurries (Michael); her grandchildren, Daniel Faley, Samantha Faley, David Faley, Ashley Doubrava, Andrew Haworth (Heather) and Jennifer Haworth; and her great grandchildren, Koryn, Zoey, Zaedan, Elektra, Colton, Elise, William and Margot.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Carol's memory may be made to Faith Lutheran School, 208 S Derby Ave, Derby, Kansas 67037 US.
