He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Alderson and Gwenneth Alderson of Emporia, KS; his brothers, Roger and Larry; and his sons, Keith and Russell.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Catherine (Cathy Dieker) of DeSoto, KS.; his children, Brian Alderson of Edgerton, KS, Kevin Alderson (Meghan) of Leawood, KS and Stacy Jackson (Alan) of De Soto, KS.; his grandchildren, Samantha Land (Luke), Kristina Alderson, Daniel Alderson, Brady Alderson, Riley Alderson, Ella Jackson and Cooper Jackson; his great grandchildren, Elijah, Ethan and Emmett Land; and his sister Marcia Heckathorn of Wichita, KS.
