He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Roscoe and Pansy Fay Penner (Dent); his wife Shirley Jean Christy; his son John Richard; and his sons-in-law, Howard Funk and Michael Collins.
He is survived by: his children, Sheryl Sue Collins, Gail Louise Funk and Paul Lee Penner (Cyndi). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to Crossroads Hospice or Lawrence Humane Society.
