He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Stewart and Irene Stewart; his siblings, Deborah M. Weber and James D. Stewart; and his great-nephew Eli Stewart.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Stewart of De Soto, KS; his children, Ken Stewart of Lawrence, KS, Matthew Stewart of DeSoto, KS and Michelle Nelson of Olathe, KS; his grandchildren, Megan Cundiff of Olathe, KS, Travis Rees of Shawnee, KS, Tracey Stewart of DeSoto, KS and Wyatt Stewart of Overland Park, KS; and his great grandchild Norah Cundiff. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
