Alveda Russell Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alveda Russell of De Soto, Kansas, who passed away on November 30, 2021 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alveda Russell to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Arthur and Gladys Beatrice Baumann (Lash); her husband Ellsworth Eugene Russell; her brothers, Wayne Baumann and Buford Baumann; and her grandson James Ross Conley.

She is survived by: her children, David Russell, Linda Brown of Lawrence, KS and Kathie Pierce of De Soto, KS; her grandchildren, Ryan Rodenburg, Ashley Ingala, Jordan Brown, Stephanie Pierce, Jennifer Pierce, Riley Pierce and Rhett Pierce; and her brother Jim Baumann of Longwood, FL. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the American Heart Association or the Savannah Methodist Church.
