It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Waneta Pendergraft of Cottonwood Falls, Kansas, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on November 2, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin H. Gerken and Alvina Gerken (Voskamp); her brothers-in-law, Jack Sparks and James Caffey; her nephew Robert Wheeler Sr.; her great-nephew Robert Wheeler II; and her sister-in-law Ruth Mary Gilbert (Pendergraft).
She is survived by: her husband Harry Pendergraft Jr.; her sisters, Joan Caffey of League City and Dorothy Sparks of Overland Park; her nieces and nephews, Carla Jo Gilbert, Belinda Wheeler (Gilbert), Jim Caffey, Mark Caffey, Cheryl Rollen (Caffey), Debra Cullen (Caffey), Lori Zimpfer (Sparks), Jackie Sparks-Lecki and Johnny Sparks; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Sara Andrews (Wheeler), Tyler Gilbert, Aaron, Rachel Zimpfer, Cody, Derek Caffey, Ian, Michaela, Jack Lecki, Blake, Cole Rollen, Casey, Brody Cullen, Mira, Matilda and Isadora Sparks.
