He was predeceased by: his parents, Adrian Lawrence and Gertrude Lawrence (White); and his former wife Geneva Lawrence (Baumgarner). He is survived by: his wife Linda Baumgarner; his sons, Tim Lawrence (Jane) of Cottonwood Falls and Larry Lawrence of Cottonwood Falls; his grandchildren, Garrett Groff, Geneva Parks and Kaylene Lawrence; and his great grandchildren, Adrian Groff, Colin Groff, Cy Poulton, Cope Poulton, Persephonie Parks and Athena Parks.
