He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Christian Elvin and Pansey Muriel Grubb Nelson; his wife Peggy Scott (Elizabeth Anne) of Topeka; his children, Paul Christian Nelson (Newton), Dr. Nancy Taoka (Denver) and Carol Rudzinski (Lexington); his grandchildren, David Zorob (Esther), Robert Zorob and Kristien Zorob; his great grandchild Eden Zorob; and his sister-in-law Phyllis Allen. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials can be made to TAP-TAM of the Kansas Chapter AAP, Rotary International Foundation for Polio Elimination, or the First United Methodist Church of Concordia, Kansas.
