Eva Strait Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 22, 2021, at the age of 89, Eva Strait (Concordia, Kansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Johannes Henke and Hildegard Henke (Schnabel); her husband Howard G. Strait; and her brothers, Helmut and Hans Henke.

She is survived by: her children, John Strait (Janice), David Strait (Cindy) and Elaine Lesperance (Corey Minor); her grandchildren, Jennifer Faulkner (Dwight), Brian Strait (Chandra), Erica Harris (Craig), Chris Strait (Anna Kurihara), Jordan Pittman (Jason) and Alex Lesperance of Olathe, KS; her great grandchildren, Emma Faulkner, Abby Faulkner, Gage Strait, Sloan Harris, Quinn Harris and Blake Pittman; her sisters, Gisela Koufos of Murrieta, CA and Sybilla Elliott (Kitty) of Niagara Falls, NY; her niece Rosalee Landon (Ted); her sisters-in-law, Inge Henke, Heidelberg, Germany and Karen Strait of Salina, KS; and her close friends, Betty Reynolds of Joplin, MO and Elizabeth Anderson (Liz).
