He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Beth" Cole Nelson; his stepchildren, Jeffrey and Julie Nelson; his children, Jeff Nelson (Nicole) and Julie Crowley (James); his grandchildren, MaKayla Nelson (Tanner Gilbert), Olivia Nelson (Erik Scott), Kaitlyn Nelson, Emilie and Alex Crowley; his godchildren, Sean Wallace, Catherine Hutton and Shannon Heath; his sisters, Louise Summers and Joan Pentico (Derry); his brother-in-law Craig Cole (Rosanne); and also, Vincent (Edna) of Concordia, Marshall of Concordia, Gene (Virginia) of Concordia, Irvin (Nola) of Concordia and Bill (Delores). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
