It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Barz of Cheney, Kansas, who passed away on November 13, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Martha Rathe (Diercks Poock) and Herman Rathe of Readlyn, IA.. She is survived by: her husband Marvin Barz; and her children, Daniel Barz (Ann) of Stevensville, MI, Mark Barz (Connie) of San Antonio, TX, Timothy Barz (Nola) of Spokane, WA, Rebecca Hillman (Larry) of Cheney, KS, Jonathan Barz (Ruth) of Dubuque, IA, Joanna Robinson (Jim) of Tilton, IL and Deborah Goltl (Scott) of Wichita, KS. She is also survived by her 23 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Paul's Lutheran School (Cheney) or to Lutherans For Life.
