He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Castor and Louise Castor. He is survived by: his children, Nanette Wavra (Charles), Steve Castor (Lisa) and Michael Castor; his siblings, Tom (Marti), Joe (Merry), Wayne (Valorie) and Susanne Mote; his grandchildren, Michelle Baskins, Tiffany Goracke (Brian), Natalie Shipman, Dusty Baskins and Adyline Castor; and his great grandchildren, Trent McPhillips, Jade Goracke, Tanner Hughes, Lexi Meis, Carley Goracke, Kassidy Hughes, Joey Goracke, Ethan Baskins, Avery Baskins, Alison Goracke, Tessa Goracke and Delaney Goracke.
A memorial has been established with the St Paul's Lutheran School.
