It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wendell Douglas Sr. (Augusta, Kansas), born in Mustang, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 27, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Jane (Maxey) and Everett Douglas; his sister Joyce Standlee; and his great grandchild Bryan Scott Douglas. He is survived by: his wife Louise (DeVine); his children, Pamela Bissett (Kevin) of Union Grove, WI, Paula Hicks (Steve) of Plattsmouth, NE, Phil Douglas, Jr. (Debbie) of Harrisonburg, VA, David Douglas (Debbie) of Belgium, WI, Melinda Sanders (David) of Canden Point, MO and Tim Douglas (Melissa) of Brookshire, TX; his siblings, Barbara Bland of Tulsa, OK, Lane Douglas (Cheryl) of McKinney, TX and Jimna; and his brothers-in-law, Duane Knapp of Augusta, KS and Brad DeVine (Norma) of Ponta Verde, FL.. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren.
