He was predeceased by: his parents, Esiquio Moreno and Maria Manrique De Moreno; his sons, Jose Guadalupe Moreno and JoseLouis Moreno; and his grandson Caleb James Moreno.
He is survived by: his children, Juan Jose Moreno of Garden City, Kansas Jesus Garza Moreno of Augusta, Kansas Juan Pablo Moreno of Wichita, Kansas Marco Antonio Moreno of Garden City, Kansas Aaron Garza Moreno of Garden City and Kansas Norma Icela Plummer of Bartlesville. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren.
