He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Goodman and Mille Goodman (LaFontz); and his siblings, Walter, Jr., James, Arvella, Ramona, Edna and Etta.

He is survived by: his son Jerry Goodman of Argonia; and his siblings, George Goodman of Blue Springs, Minnie Helms of Anthony and Rosetta Moore (Marion) of Wichita. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
