He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Carothers and Bessie J. Carothers (Whitelaw); his wife Mary Rohr; and his half-sister Constance "Connie" Brown. He is survived by: his daughters, Tamara Brooks (Josh) and Kendra Carothers (Tracy Harris); and his grandchildren, Makenzie Barker, Jaelin Brooks and Carson Brooks. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
