She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Goertz and Pearl Goertz (Kilian); her grandparents, Goldie, Adolf Kilian, Anna and Henry Goertz; her brother Philip; and her granddaughter Zoie.
She is survived by: her husband Rex Gates; her family Homestead; her stepchildren, Charlotte Marie Gates (Neumeyer) and Jay Austin Gates (Maria Gates) of Anthony, KS; her brothers, Roger Goertz (Natalie Goertz) of The Woodlands, TX and Rodney Goertz (Pauletta Dodgen) of Anthony, KS; her daughter Charlotte Neumeyer (Scott Neumeyer) of Wylie, TX; her grandchildren, Castin Neumeyer (Madison Jantzen) of Wylie, TX, Elyssa Neumeyer-Weber (Jalen Weber) of Lavon, TX, Faith Gates of Anthony, KS, Eli Gates, Karter Hedlund, Ethan Gates and Luci Gates; and her great grandchildren, Ezra Neumeyer-Weber, Knox Neumeyer-Weber and Rex. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, cousins, and many relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Anthony Christian Church and may be sent in care of Prairie Rose Funeral Home, 602 E. Main St., Anthony, KS 67003.
