She was predeceased by: her parents, Eli Mize and Bertha Mize (Mikels); her husband Walter Jefferson; her granddaughter Ashley Dawn Jefferson; and her siblings, Lois Ricker, Marian Neier, Mable Johnstone-Waugh and Eli Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Vickie Burnes (Steven), Deborah Soboleski (James), Walter Steven Jefferson (Stephanie) and Cindi Nagel (Chris); and her brother John Mize (Patricia). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
