He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Hatfield and Ruth Hatfield. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; and his siblings, Hayes H. Hatfield (Sandra) and Sarah L. "Sally" Farmer. He is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews.
