She was predeceased by: her parents, William McClain and Margaret Clark McClain; her husband Harold Atterson, Sr.; her son Harold "Woody" Atterson, Jr.; and her siblings, William McClain, Julia Lark and Sarah Robertson.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Atterson (Joyce), Monty Atterson, Sarah Winn (John) and Jacqueline Atterson. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
