It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard L. Rollings of West Terre Haute, Indiana, born in Fort Branch, Indiana, who passed away on February 26, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donn Rollings and Pearl Hadley Rollings; his wife Vera L. Norton Rollings; his son Don Rollings; his son-in-law Bob Deal; and his siblings, Leon Rollings, Joan House, Rose Ella Moss, Wilma Giles and Deloris Taylor.
He is survived by: his children, Jane Deal, Martha Haggard (Frank) and Gary Rollings (Jacki) of Mattoon, IL; his sisters, Shirley Pickett and Carolyn Blair; and his grandchildren, Amy Rollings, Alexandra Rollings, Richard Harrison Rollings (Kayla), Jon Haggard, Leslie Marnewick (Eugene), Kalee Deal (James McDowell), Sarah Rodgers (Andy) and William Levi Rollings (Angel). He is also survived by several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
The family suggests that if friends so desire, In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Providence Food Pantry in West Terre Haute.
