He was predeceased by: his parents, Loren Lee McGinnis and Violet Mae Ensminger McGinnis; his cousin Ronnie Ray Anderson; and his brother-in-law Aaron Brown. He is survived by: his children, Dawn Marie Kasemeyer (Kurtis) and Michael Lee "Mo" McGinnis; and his sister Monna Marie Brown. He is also survived by three grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and three nephews.
