It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Dant of West Terre Haute, Indiana, born in Linton, Indiana, who passed away on January 21, 2023, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father James Francis Dant. He is survived by: his wife Deana Dant (Edgin); his mother Joan Dant (Shake) of Vincennes; his children, Kara Doyle (Brian) of Vincennes and Tyler Dant (Maura) of Alexandria, VA; his grandchildren, Maggie, Bridget, Connor Doyle, James Dant, Adalynn Bottoms and Kade Bottoms; his stepsons, Ryan Bottoms (Kristin) of Evansville, IN and Riley Bottoms (Kait Isler) of Indianapolis, IN; his sisters, Beth Meuser (David) of Brazil, IN, Brenda Cleveland of Cordova, TN and Jennifer Goodrich (Mark) of Vincennes; his aunt Carolyn DeVine of Vincennes; and his uncle Bernie Dant (Ann Marie) of Goodyear, AZ. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
