She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred W. Kasemeyer and Ruth I. Bailey Kasemeyer; and her brothers, Donald Kasemeyer and David Kasemeyer. She is survived by: her husband Gene Hunter; her children, Steve Hunter (Sally) and Kathy Hunter (Lynda Fuqua); her grandchildren, Amy Barbour (Corey) and Chad Hunter (Kelsey); and her great grandchildren, Hunter Barbour, Addie Barbour, Hayden Hunter and Greyson Hunter.
