He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clarence Edward and Mary Elizabeth "Lizzy" Byrd (Allsup); his wife Linda Marie Lenges Byrd; his grandparents, Asbury, Edna Byrd, Henry and Emma Allsup (Bedwell); his aunts and uncles, Johnny, Noma Allsup, Lucy "Luke" Merritt, Nelly Schaffer, Selista Doran, Rose Furr, Evelyn Porter, Magalyn Elliot, Maxine Bowser and Ann Mullenix; his mother-in-law Virginia Mae Lenges (Ginnie); his brother-in-law David Crane; his niece Rebecca Lenges; his children, Justin, Jordan (Tiffany) and Virginia Byrd; his grandchildren, Mackenze Byrd, Malaki Marks, Emma, Lilly, Grace, Cort and Amelia Byrd; his sisters, Donna and Judy Teran (Carlos); and his parents-in-law, John, Ann Lenges, Judy Crane and Carolyn Kemper. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews; several dear cousins and many brothers and sisters.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in memory of Gary Byrd to the Terre Haute Humane Society and the United Child Care Center in Terre Haute, Indiana.
