He was predeceased by: his father William VanDeGrift. He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Kay (Keith) and Kirk Alan; his wife Nancy Doraine Neal; his grandchildren, Rachel, Joshua and Kaden; and his great grandchildren, Benjamin, Brady, Ezra, Evalyn and Gabriella.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Southeast Baptist Tabernacle or the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
