It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Ann Sterling (Washington, Indiana), born in Jasper, Indiana, who passed away on July 6, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Orville P. Mundy and Bernadette M. Mundy (Humbert); her husband Elisha William Sterling; her children, Joshua Kempf (Bethany) and Elizabeth Barretto (Kia'i) of Washington; her grandchildren, Jalen Kempf, Lillian Kempf, Madelyn Kempf, Colton Kempf and Keola Barretto; and her siblings, Rebecca Taylor of Evansville, Mary Mundy (Bill Robinson) of Leopold, Larry Mundy (Kathy) of Ferdinand, Kevin Mundy of Ferdinand, Patrick Mundy (Pamela Englert) of Ferdinand, Steve Mundy, Mark Mundy (Linda) of Birdseye, Joe Mundy (Tammy) of Huntingburg, Tom Mundy (Jodi) of Huntingburg, Elaine Duncan of Huntingburg, Gary Mundy (Jayne Hurst) of St. Anthony and Karen Beckman (Mark) of St. Anthony. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Ruth was a member of the Arbor Day Foundation and the Calvary Missionary Church.
