She was predeceased by: her father James Earl Mason; her son Dean Gregory Atkinson; her siblings, Jack Mason and Vicki Mason Moreland; her son-in-law G. Edwards Hughes; and her husband Dean.
She is survived by: her children, Jill Ann Atkinson Hughes of Midlothian, VA and Grant Atkinson (Janet) of Palm Coast, FL; and her siblings, Rita Rish of Bicknell, IN and Dr. James Mason (Mary Dee) of Bicknell, IN.. She is also survived by five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
