He was predeceased by: his parents, Claus Magnus Chilman and Ellen Chilman (Knudsen); and his brother Wayne Chilman. He is survived by: his wife Alice Jones; his children, Erika Roach (Neal) of Indianapolis, Indiana, Jason Chilman of Washington, Indiana and Sarah Milligan (Steve) of Sellersburg; his stepsons, Michael Jones (Kristy) of Loogootee, Indiana and John Jones of Montgomery; his grandson Sam Roach (Kaylie); his stepchildren, Sydney Roach, Zachary, Alyssa Chilman, Cailin and Colin Milligan; his great grandchild Magnus Peter Roach; his stepgrandchildren, Christopher Jones of Loogootee, Mikenna Jones of Loogootee, Isaiah Jones of Loogootee, Brooklyn Jones of Montgomery, Indiana. and Addison Jones of Montgomery, Indiana.; his siblings, Kenneth Chilman (Eunice) of Carbondale, Illinois and Jane Hamblen (Jim) of North Vernon, Indiana; and his sister-in-law Eva Chilman of North Vernon, Indiana.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as several great-nephews.
